Whether you are looking for little bit of lip definition that’s barely there – an almost exact match to your natural lip colour – or just a want to have a little fun… Don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed with these iconic nude lipsticks. Each one works for different purpose and occasion.
Charlotte Tilbury – Very Victoria
Still looking for a perfect nude in matte formula? Want to achieve the corpse look? This one is a must. Personally I’m not huge fan of matte lipsticks, but this one is an exception for a reason: it’s creamy, the colour is a beautiful rosy nude with mauve undertones, it doesn’t dry out your lips, and it lasts for hours. It’s great for those days when you want to go smokey on the eyes but sort of want to create a lovely blurry effect on the lips. Completely worth the hype, and I am a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury make-up in general: the quality is fantastic.
Chanel Rouge Allure – Pensive
Your lips, but better – the kind of nude that’s a perfect match to my lip colour. It gives that silky pearly- nude effect with just the right amount of pink and brown tones. Looks pretty cool in everyday use, but also looks perfect with heavier make-up: look at my eye type – cool blue-toned smokey eyes. Need one say more, really? It’s Chanel!
Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer – Lara
Tom Ford never disappoints – and this tiny tiny dinky lipstick shade never leaves my handbag. This everyday pinky nude provides a barely-there satin finish with slight peachy undertones. It’s the kind of nude that only needs this colour swipe and a little bit of bronzer and you’re good to go – you won’t need anything else. Let’s just say you have to have TOM FORD in your life.
Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer – Abandon
Love love love using this during summer months with its extremely creamy, balmy, shiny and comfortable formula. It has peachy undertones which are really subtle and look amazing on tanned skin. Perfect for date nights and breezy summer evening looks. I’ve been using this for over a year and finished one bullet – I’m already on to the second one.
YSL Rouge Pur Couture – No 70
Such an easy colour and application type – you barely need a mirror to apply this one: just swipe on and go! Smooth on application, easy on the lips, hydrating… you know that you can always rely on this one. It goes with any make-up and it’s your trusty bullet that should always be with you no matter the situation you are in. YSL is one of my favourite favourite brands in general – both make-up and fashion.
Dolce & Gabbana – Feminene
An Italian love affair – leaves that pearlescent gold sheen on the lips. Extremely hydrating, gives such good definition that you don’t need to use a lip-liner over it. Looks perfect when you want to achieve the golden sun-kissed make-up look. I’ve only been introduced to Dolce & Gabbana’s make-up line last year but I’m already a huge fun.
Burberry Lip Mist – Field Rose
Luxurious packaging, and what you get inside is even more luxurious. Very light in formula, leaves that pinky-nude sheen on the lips. Great for all natural-look lovers. It’s definitely worth checking the Burberry make up line: you won’t be disappointed.
Hope this helps you find your perfect nude lipstick?
